The Performing Arts Center

Sam Houston State University is proud to announce the construction phase of the new $38.5 million Performing Arts Center. The structurewill contain over 91,000 square feet of space and will house entirely new facilities for the Dance Program including a 150-seat dance theatre, four spacious studios, dressing rooms, faculty offices, computer lab and costume facilities. In addition, both the School of Music and the Theatre Program will expand to include new performance venues, instructional space, production facilities and faculty offices.

Scholarship& Admission Auditions

The SHSU Dance Scholarship & Admission Audition form has been posted for entrance into the dance program for spring and fall 09. Also, this form is used for current Bachelor of Arts dance students looking to apply for the Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. Don't delay in reserving your spot for the auditions.
