Ashley Seering is an award-winning filmmaker originally from Mascoutah, Illinois. She holds an MFA in Film and Television Production from Loyola Marymount University and a BA in Mass Communications from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. Her films have screened at festivals all over the world including Slamdance, Big Sky Documentary Film Festival, and St. Louis International Film Festival. She is a five-time Mid-America EMMY nominee. Her creative work usually explores social justice and historical themes.
